Rick's Smokehouse Grill - Terre Haute

What can I say? This place was great! I need to get to know Rick, who offered my group a special taste of a new Bourbon Batch idea he's working on. Good stuff! Had some ribs, brisket and pig. tender and juicy! Had at least 4 different flavors of BBQ sauce available on the table; all were great. Tomato base, but with vinegar and sugar in most. As far as I can say it is a family business; Rick's wife and daughter also worked. Absolutely love the memory and image from the last 70 years in and around Terre Haute. Would highly recommend.

That was a great find! Friendly staff good food. The prices were fair. For a few dollars more than fast food, the experience is great.

All dishes are delicious and juicy!!! It is soooo good!!! Never had a bad meal here!!! Try it and you will be bound!!! 5 STARS!!!

Where does this satisfied customer begin? That was our first time we tried this facility. We started on the front counter where Nevaeh helped us by recommending what is popular. I have the two flesh and my husband has the three flesh. Absolutely delicious!!!! Thank you. So with all that is said, let me work out something about this place. In addition to the amazing food, this facility is very clean, has great decor, relaxing atmosphere. The staff is helpful, friendly and pleasant!! I will guarantee that we will return, yes it is a drive, but it is so worth it! One last thing you need to see for yourself THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! Also make sure you have a bottle of her signature sauce. I promise it won't disappoint!

Always a great experience at Rick's. There was a very large party (30ish) ahead of us. The staff did a great job getting all the orders and getting food out in a very timely manner. I've worked in the industry and I must say I was very impressed! It certainly is not always easy to please a large party. The food was just right. My 7 year old daughter hardly ever eats and she devoured her entire dinner. Thanks so much for getting it right Rick's.
