Happy Donuts - Texas City

The woman at the counter was very friendly and efficient. The cinnamon roll was delicious and quite large. The only downside was the limited selection of donuts. When we visited at 8:30, the shelves were almost empty as seen in the photo and video. It's possible they were restocking, but it was surprising to see so many items sold out with three hours still left until closing.

If you don’t like the soft doughnuts from Shipleys then this is the place. Shipleys used to be my favorite till I had a happy doughnut omg it’s so good. I like all of the stuff they make. Give it a try. They don’t disappoint. I’ve been coming here for years, won’t go anywhere else. If for some reason it’s closed I don’t go anywhere else.

These are hands down the best donuts in town, surpassing even Shipleys.

We arrived 10 minutes before closing and I guess we brought a little business as another young lady arrived shortly behind us. The hospitality was great and the doughnuts were the best and their Boudin Kolache was perfect.
