The Fish Place - Texas City

The fish was disappointing; it had the taste of something that was pre-packaged. The restaurant felt warm and wasn’t very inviting. On a positive note, the service was good. However, when I visited the bathroom, I noticed it wasn't very clean. I’m not sure if I would consider dining here again.

The food was good, the server was very sweet and patient, and the atmosphere felt very "homey." I really enjoyed my first visit to Texas City.

I've lived here for seven years and finally decided to try this restaurant. I ordered a burger and a sampler platter. The sauce for the sampler platter is fantastic—I wish we had more of it! The cheeseburger was juicy, and the cheese was melted perfectly, which is surprising since I'm not usually a fan of cheese on my burger. Overall, it was a great experience. I'm really impressed and just wish I had discovered this place sooner!

Do not stay here! Bed sheets and pillows stained and several cigarette holes in a nonsmoking room, water damage, weird orange stain in the shower, no lighting in the shower, mold on the shower curtains!!

I wish we had more.The cheeseburger was juicy and the cheese was melted just right and I don’t like cheese normally on my burger. Good all around. Very impressive. Wish I could have found it sooner.
