Mccormick Schmick's Seafood Steaks

I came inside there today and it seems like no one wanted to serve me. I was there for 1:45 mins and only got an arnold palmer and seafood alfredo. I’m from out of town and i thought I was eating somewhere nice but it was the total opposite. Worst $32 I spent so far in Hou. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!

This is one of my favorite places for date nights and celebrating special occasions.

Great appetizers and food. Server was extremely attentive. Nice environment.

The place has a nice feel, and the service is good. Although you don't get to choose the sides with the $45 steak. The steak was good. The temperature was a little off. But still had a decent flavor. It came with 2 asparagus and 2 carrots (not my choice to pick). Plus, it really wasn't enough to consider being a side dish. Actually, it's more like adding sautéed onions to the steak as a topper. I did get the garlic mashed potatoes, so I can say I had a side dish. Lol. It was ok, but needed a little more seasoning. Funny, I didn't see any salt or pepper shackers. This was my second time, and it was consistent with the first time. So yes, I will return.

Feedback is important, even it the experience was not up to M&S and Landry standard. Friday night, 7:00. The vibe was off. The place was not crowded while other restaurants were. The greeting, seating, and general first impression was way off. Everything was slow. Service was slow even though the place was 1/2 full. The food was great, yet the stress of the waiter made things uncomfortable. He kept telling us he was about to get fired or he was going to quit. Really? Why tell the guest this? Odd. Got our order wrong so I watched my wife eat her meal then she watched me eat mine. I understand mistakes can be made yet this was a difficult recovery. In the end, the manager paid for my meal. Odd, he had challenges at the table next to us and paid their meals too. M&S, Landry Management you are better than this! I know you are. Maybe it was an off might for everyone, yet feedback is feedback.
