Panaderia Tierra Caliente

I absolutely love Tierra Caliente Panaderia! This bakery offers a wide range of Central American baked goods—I'm talking about shelves filled with delicious treats, many of which have names I don't even recognize but look incredibly tempting. Recently, I’ve been stopping by every weekend to grab some bolillos for sandwiches for lunch during the week, as well as to sample some random goodies. For example, last week I enjoyed several thick slices of Salvadoran semita, and this week I picked up a bag of Mexican biscuit-like treats called gorditas de nata. The prices are very affordable, too. The bakery is conveniently located near Tacos La Bala, so why not visit both while you're there?

It's always my favorite spot for cakes and sweet bread.

The bread here has become quite pricey, but it's truly excellent. The only downside is that there are beggars outside asking for money.

The staff was rather serious and did not greet us upon arrival.

The King Cake we purchased there was absolutely delicious—definitely highly recommended!
