Rita's Italian Ice

Stopped by here after a bike ride on Buffalo Bayou and got the strawberry cheesecake frozen custard. I took a bite before I remembered to take a picture, which is why it looks so smooth on top, lol. It was delicious! The service was great as well!

Rita’s, what has happened over the past few months? My daughter and I loved coming here at least once a week. But over the past few months, there has apparently been a lot of changes and a lot turnover with the staff. The last 3 visits we have not been able to get what we wanted because you were out of product or the server didn’t know the proper recipe. I hope things get figured out, because we do love this place, but I’m not sure how much longer it will last the way things are going.
