The Carnivore - Thika

This restaurant is not ideal for vegetarians, as it caters primarily to meat lovers. While I personally enjoy eating meat, I found the constant presence of various meats like crocodile, pork, lamb, and turkey to be overwhelming. However, the service, atmosphere, and music were all excellent.

We dined solely on Nile crocodile meat, which was by far the most delicious dish on the menu. The restaurant also offered lamb, pork, turkey, chicken, and ostrich prepared in various ways. However, I was not a fan of the bull testicles they served as a final dish.

You have to absolutely carnivorous to visit! It is all about meat! My only reason for not giving full 5 is that I expected to see crocodile or a bit of seafood when I visited

If you are looking for the most authentic African dishes, look no further than Carnivore. It has been around for ages and just like fine wine they get better everyday. Their meat dishes are off the hook and they literally melt in your mouth, that's how good they do it. They also have vegetarian Dishes but if you are carnivorous as the name carnivore suggests, This will be the meat Mecca for you while in Nairobi

Weekday visits are particularly enjoyable as the playgrounds are not crowded, allowing for plenty of space. They also know how to sing the birthday song which adds a special touch. We especially love the African cuisine that they offer.
