Torres Hotel - THURSDAY ISLAND

Enjoyed a BIG lunch with my family, the service was great. The crumbed steak was literally served on a platter with a generous, tasty salad and chips. It could feed one adult and one child (if you're not too hungry) All our meals came out almost at the same time, if the waiter had arms it would've, so we got to eat the meal together without sitting and watching someone eating while waiting Outdoor seating area allows you to enjoy the not so busy life outside! Absolutely loved it! Went back again before returning home

Great iconic hotel...the most Northern In Australia. Excellent meals at great prices that most will struggle to finish due to the generous sizes. Recommend when on Thursday Island if your feeling hungry

I had a BIG lunch with my family, the service was great. the crumblesteak was literally served on a plate with a generous, tasty salad and chips. it could feed an adult and a child (if they are not too hungry) all our meals came out almost at the same time when the waiter had 6 poor, so we had to eat the meal together without sitting and watching someone who eats during the waiting sitting area in the free allows them to enjoy the not so busy living outside! absolutely loved! before the return to the house

Large meal times, great beer and a geordie slat behind the bar. the northernmost pub in Australia. (pic) view in direction pub 1 road back, from the ferry. really beautiful city.
