The food is a bit pricy, and excellent. They have a couple of outdoor seating options, choose the one across the street. For appetizers we had the cheese croquettes, tomato and baby shrimp, and both were yummy. They also have free bread and olives, which are great. For entrée we had baked seafood, pasta with chicken curry, and vegetable lasagna, each tasted very good. The staff is friendly, and service is prompt. Must visit!

Great place with outdoor seating in the square. If it's nice weather, worth booking otherwise you might need to wait for a table. Service good for a place this busy but had to ask a couple of times for something. There is a menu of the day deal.

Prices fall on the high side but guess it's the price you pay everywhere in bruges. The fish soup and chicken salad are both super delicious even though people usually come to this restaurant for mossels, but certainly recommend to order different dishes to share if you go there with a larger group. Do remember to make a reseveration too as they are pretty full!

Poules Moules is a small cozy restaurant where you can have tasty mussels and beer and excellent service. The 4 of us ate an excellent meal of mussels and fries—both a must when visiting Bruges—during a rainy day trip from Amsterdam. I can highly recommend mussels with white wine sauce. The fries were thick and crispy and salty! I even got some tasty ketchup (it wasn’t Heinz Ketchup). I had an IPA with my meal and it was a perfect combo. The restaurant is so small, they use a dumbwaiter to deliver food from the kitchen in the lower level. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! It does close early, so be mindful of the time. We tried to get a table over lunchtime during a downpour of January cold rain and were turned away. They don’t take reservations. We were happy to get a great table a couple of hours later.
