Rose Crown - Tintern

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The pub itself is spacious, and we enjoyed sitting by the window with a lovely view of the river. The food was not only delicious but also very affordable. My son ordered a steak and declared, "it was the best!" I highly recommend this place.

Welcome. they could not do enough for us. very good eating and nice selection at local ales. good basic menu and large and varied special table. asked if they would prepare something from menu, no problem at all. I look forward to coming back soon.

We have been walking past this lovely place for years and today was our first visit. What a lovely warm welcome great service. A lovely young lady (Layla) was so helpful looked after us. It's so cosy and felt like a traditional place. The bonus point was actual Homemade Food.

We live right across from this place and decided to stop by for a drink since they allow dogs. Our dog was no issue at all, and neither were the drinks. However, we ended up staying longer and spending more than just a few drinks! The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely glad to help. They had a dedicated vegan menu and were more than happy to accommodate our dietary needs without any hint of annoyance. The food was delightful—everything tasted fresh and homemade. We overheard the staff interacting with other customers, and their approach was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the atmosphere was and the great quality of the meal at such an affordable price. We will definitely be returning!

This charming little restaurant is conveniently located a short distance from Tintern Abbey. There are also a few tables on the riverside, although in the summer, those with a keen sense of smell might want to avoid sitting there. The staff was wonderful, the food was tasty, and we had a lovely time together. I would definitely love to return if I visit again.
