Wawa - Tokoroa

I've never left a bad review before but the burgers served were made with the cheapest ingrediants. No sauce or cheese plus im not sure what the long wait was due to as their was only one other customer in the store. Also overpriced. Wouldn't recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The staff was lovely, and I feel hesitant to write this review, but with rising prices, it's important to be honest. I felt that the cost of a decent breakfast didn’t match the experience. The restaurant was cold, and there was a musty smell in the air. Unfortunately, the sausage had an unusual taste. The bathroom only had a hand towel, and in this day and age, there really should be disposable towels or a hand dryer available. The toast was a bit stale, and we were only given one napkin. The high chair was in poor condition and needs to be replaced. On a positive note, the mushrooms were delicious, and the hash browns and eggs were cooked perfectly. I also enjoyed the old Tokoroa photos on the wall; they were really cool. It would be a nice touch to have a box of toys or some books for little ones to enjoy while dining.
