Californian-style healthy gelato shop, I tried the only two vegan flavours they had (without honey: coffee and cocoa). There is definitely better gelato out there.
Really loved the vibe of this place. Very chilled and laid back Californian decor and lovely welcoming staff. There were a couple of vegan options (for those who avoid raw honey) although the ice cream is all dairy free, so if you do eat honey then you will be spoilt for choice! I enjoyed the vanilla date flavour with cacao nibs, hemp seeds and mulberries. The ice cream is made with dates and coconut milk, so isn’t overpoweringly sweet or filling. Really tasty, refreshing and healthy. Will definitely come back.
Classy parlour that looks like it could be a high end clothes or glasses store. When I went there, there were only two flavours that were vegan: vanilla dates and coffee dates. As their names suggest, they are sweetened with dates. (All their other are bee-gan and dairy free, as they sweeten the rest of their flavours with raw honey Their honey is sourced from USA but no clue as to whether it's from small apiaries or mass produced. Good for killing your craving and those who are curious but if you want the real deal go for Premarche gelateria in Naka-meguro, as Michael Robinson below mentioned.
Using the Happy Cow app and Google maps, we were outside the disappointing San Francisco Peaks when this place showed up as nearby, a very kind Japanese woman overheard our debate on whether to our hunt for burgers on hold and get ice cream, and she offered to take us there, the decision was made. It's a nice place on a main road with not too many seats inside, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sadly the choices for vegans were pretty limited as most of their ice creams contain honey! I opted for the coffee and coconut ones with a topping of spiced nuts, they were really tasty and they have free coffee on tap to help combat the brain freeze. Good but not as good as Premarche Gelateria which had more vegan options.
