It’s a relief to be able to order anything off the menu. Everything vegan or vegetarian. Mominoki House prides itself on quality ingredients, grown by trusted producers. The food is carefully prepared and the atmosphere is calm and a refreshing respite from the bustle a few meters away. We ordered the course as well as a few of the extras on the menu, the spring rolls and vegetable tempura ro be precise. The 3 courses offered have a selection of appetisers and a main dish, tofu, tempe, or a chickpea patty. We were very full, especially after I had the blueberry cake, desert is included in the course menu. There is also vegan ice cream! So it’s not cheap but not unreasonable. For two big eaters we paid 14,000 yen which included the course menu, spring rolls, tempura, and wine. Great service just made it better.
Loved the food here, authentic japanese dishes veganized!
Most of the menu is vegan. The service is great and the food quality is worth every penny. I had the tempeh steak and it is probably the first time I’ve tried good tempeh (not like the chewy dry thing we have in the West). But the highlight was the plate of DELICIOUS vegetables that came with it. The tofu salad is also nice and they offer vegan desserts like sweet potato cake, chocolate cake and peanuts ice cream A must try. My non-vegan friends love it as well.
