While not exactly fine dining, Herman's excels at simple fare like BBQs and hot dogs. They have a nice variety of sundaes to choose from, and though the ice cream flavors are limited, it is still one of the best places to go for a cold treat. When we got our food, my boyfriend ended up with a tiny plain burger, and I was served a chicken parmesan sandwich instead of what I ordered. There was also a mix-up with the lady in front of us, so we decided to just eat what was given to us and leave. The total was $19 for a burger and a chicken sandwich that were smaller than what you'd typically get at McDonald's. The food was decent, but not worth the price, especially given the errors with our order and the lady's ahead of us. Maybe the ice cream is better.
