Good service and perfect wild boar. Order for one and get enough food for two. Patron speaks English and has an english menu for those of us that are not yet fluent in portuguese. Looks like nothing from the outside but definitely worth while.

This restaurant is a no frills place, but the food is good quality and portions are generous. I would choose to visit again.

We went as part of a large group the service was excellent, the food plenty and tasty. I will go there again and often.

We tried this restaurant for the first time and were impressed it was typically Portuguese and a half dose of the plates of the day were chosen, grouper in the oven and polvo, both sufficient for the most healthy appetite. The fish came with oven...cooked potatoes not roasted! , rice and mashed potatoes, the polvo 2 small ones came with new boiled potatoes. Both dishes were accompanied by a small jug of red wine which for 1€ was excellent, pudding was good although the dessert of the house was not the best I have tasted as more curdled than custard but both tasted nice. Not a tourist haunt seemingly but very good value and generous portions. Will definitely try again during our stay.
