Bouffe - Toronto

Wanted to have a nice sit down dinner for my birthday. The food tasted VERY excellent and value was A+ for the 1/2 price tasting menu!! The service was comically bad. We were forgotten by the staff, course missed, and substitutions overlooked (despite the server offering it to us in the first place). I couldn't even chalk it up to the staff having an off day I saw patrons seated after us (next to us) get every course on time with no issues. Glad I didn't pay full price for the meal!

We opted in for the 7 course tasting menu and it was the perfect amount of food. We both really enjoyed all of the courses with the 2nd course tuna being our favourite one. Definitely suggest checking it out on a Tuesday or Wednesday!

The tasting menus was fantastic. I just wish I’d had more of the gumbo.
