We started with a bowl of wonton soup and there was no shortage of wontons. This was a good start to our dinner. The rest of our meal consisted of Fish with Black Bean Sauce, Manchurian Chicken, and Beef with Snow Peas and Mushrooms Each dish was delicious and had lots of gravy that went well with a bowl of rice. The portions were generous and there was enough leftovers for two days of lunch at work! If you have a craving for tasty Indian style Hakka Chinese food, check out Hakka Legend. They have several locations in the GTA.
My husband ordered a chicken corn soup that lacked flavor and was sparse on ingredients. It seemed more like a watery corn starch soup with little to no corn, egg, or chicken. The soup was served in two containers, a small one and a medium-sized one. When my husband called to complain and return the untouched soup in the medium-sized container, the lady at the cash register argued with him about the presence of chicken in the soup, despite only finding a small piece. The manager got involved and only gave him back one container because that was all he returned. The entire situation was frustrating and unacceptable. The customer service at Hakka Legend left much to be desired and we will not be ordering from them again.
The food is good but the service not good. a group of us at work made an order and they gave me the wrong order. when i called they told me come back and will make you a new order. when i got there they told my my new order is more money and i have to pay the different. Why do i have to pay more when they made the wrong order for me. for this reason i gave them 2 stars
I ordered three chicken dishes, but they did not taste fresh. I had heard great things about this restaurant, but I was disappointed.
There was party at my home and i ordered all veg dishes. The restaurant is so irresponsible that they served Shrimp Soup instead of Veg Man-chow Soup. When we complained, instead accepting their mistake, they were arguing unnecessarily.
