This restaurant is down to earth, offering really tasty dishes that don’t break the bank. We tried the lamb chops by the piece and loved them, and the Spanakopita was truly heavenly. However, the grilled calamari wasn’t as impressive. The portions are on the smaller side but not overly so, and the restaurant has a warm ambiance. The olive oil on the table was well noticed. We would definitely come back!
The food betrays the setting.I ordered Chicken souvlaki dinner. $26.00. Upgrade to tomatoe based salad for $6.00. Glass of red wine $15.00.First to come, the room temperature tap water. Next; chewy almost inedible bread rolls. No butter. The dinner had 1 stick of chicken overly salty, salty tzatziki, 3 quarter pieces of cold potatoes and very forgetable rice that tasted bland and overcooked. The salad was as thin as the plate with no seasoning. The waiter never brought the wine.$36.00. I'm Hungry.Never againI would be embarrassed to serve that food to anyone.I hadn't eaten anything. Look how empty the plate is.
Love their new location, food is still delicious as always! My favourites are the flaming saganaki. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the Danforth area for Greek food!
Ordered the Aegean Fare Special and Kalamari for takeout. The green bell peppers in the AFS had a bitter, off taste and it look speckled with some dark spots as well so I avoided eating any bell peppers. Then as I ate my salad I noticed a hair inside, so I decided not to eat that as well. It's a shame because the overall flavour of the dishes were good
