Mia Brunch - Toronto

My family went to MIA just yesterday and before that we had only been once. Even though the restaurant is always full and we’d only visited once before all the staff recognized my family and made us feel special. Alex, Sebastian, and Tsam were so friendly and they gave us the nicest treatment. They somehow managed to wrangle us the best table in house and even through all the bustle, they small-talked with us. They took excellent care of us. The food was also to die for and the presentation is incredible. My family even made a reservation to come again before we finished paying the bill because we enjoyed it so much!

The restaurant boasts a charming atmosphere with a modern diner vibe, accentuated by a spacious bar that brunch cocktail enthusiasts will appreciate.Though seating is somewhat limited, the patio opens up during summer, accommodating more patrons. In the fall and winter, the cozy interior caters to about 10 groups (max 20 people) with a 75-minute meal limit, but swift service ensures ample time to savor the experience.Opting for the Good Morning plate, featuring eggs, bacon, toast, home fries, and a cup of fruit, I found it overall satisfying. While the home fries' texture wasn't to my liking, the fresh fruit and perfectly fried bacon compensated well.The service was commendable – swift ordering, prompt food delivery, and a quick checkout. Yet, the relatively high prices and limited bar seating (challenging for bulky winter attire) left room for improvement. Despite this, I'm open to exploring other menu options on future visits.

This is another busy Sunday brunch place to go when you are in the downtown area. The waitresses are working hard as well as the lady worked in the bar. The food is good the eggs were perfectly done and the potatoes are very tasty. The salad is a bit plain but overall is great.

My friend and I shared two brunch options. The Crunchy French Toast and the French Smoked Salmon Omelette. The French Toast was to die for! The omelette was decent. I was expecting a more thinly shaved smoked salmon. For me, I didn't enjoy the taste with the omelette. I also had a Mango Smoothie Fantastic! Would definitely go back!

A good place to start your day. Pancakes were fluffy and tasty, and coffee was great. The patio is worth a try on a sunny day.
