Hakata Ikkousha Ramen Torrance

We are so lucky here to have an abundance of ramen shops. What stands out here is the intensity of the pork broth.  The rich, fatty broth is overwhelmingly porky. If that sounds too intense you can get a lighter version.  That's just one of a number of customizations you can get.  The noodles are pretty toothsome by default. You can get them softer or harder.  If you need the heat then go for Black Devil. It's solidly spicy!, Ordered also Tonkotsu their signature and best seller, the Ikkousha Spicy Karaage which is very flavorful, crispy and tender and their Kiku Masamune Dry Sake (Hot). Everything here is close to perfection. Free parking on-site and i highly recommend to visit this place while in Torrance!

Went here by chance tonight wanting a hot soup and ordered the Tonkatau Ramen with everything. I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The broth was excellent, the bamboo was fresh and tasty and the Nori was excellent. Pork pieces were a good size and the Wood ear mushrooms were splendid. The combination was like many I?ve had in Taiwan and Japan so it was great to have those familiar tastes here. I combined this with Karage (fried chicken) which had a wonderful crispy texture although the chicken was a little dry for my taste. I?m retrospect the ramen was easily big enough to be filling so the chicken wasn?t necessary but I was hungry. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. This is a gem of a ramen shop and worth a visit. I can highly recommend

I come here for authentic tonkotsu ramen. Ordered with premium toppings which doubles the pork and adds a boiled egg. The full-flavored pork broth is their specialty here and definitely one of the best around! Highly recommended!

It's about 6 miles from our house, but we're still coming here. We love it very much, the crispy carabage is so good. The ramen is, of course, the bomb. We took so many friends here all through the years and they all loved it. Service is phenomenal, thanks? Miss May (sie?s the best server ever) fast and very attentive.

A certain must in Torrance, CA! I have the traditional rams and a side of Karaage! The ravens were amazing, jam full of layers of tasty broth and the carage was the crispy and tenderest roasted chicken I ever had (and I live in Kentucky)! The only Hakata in the USA! You're world famous!
