Miyabi Uni - Torrance

I absolutely love this hidden gem in Torrance! I come here specifically for the Uni Pasta and the Grilled Squid with Ankimo. The service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is relaxed—no frills, just excellent food! If you're a fan of uni, this is definitely the place to be!

The restaurant's interior is tidy and well-organized. I was in search of some delicious uni and happened to find this gem. Making reservations online is a breeze. I highly recommend starting your meal with the uni garlic canapés; they make for an excellent appetizer. The French toast has a lovely crispy texture, and the uni itself is creamy and delightful. I tried the miyabi uni pasta, which has a distinct salty flavor from the soy sauce, rather than just a creamy uni taste. If you’re not keen on that umami profile, I suggest opting for the plain uni pasta instead. The noodles are cooked to perfection. The miyabi kaisen is a fantastic option to sample a variety of fresh fish. I don’t usually visit this area, but I would definitely return for a meal if I did.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious. The service is fantastic, and our favorite server is Malia! The rest of the staff is also very friendly, so you won’t be let down. The house green salad is delightful too! Their pasta dishes are wonderful and full of flavor as well.
