P.f. Chang's - Torrance

Great food and a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff! I hadn't visited PF Chang's in a few years, and I was hoping to see some new items on the menu.

Service: Our server, Alona, was exceptional. She ensured that all our orders were accurate and remembered our special requests, which we appreciated. Food: Unfortunately, the flavors were lacking. I used to adore the lettuce wraps, but they were overly salty this time around. The Firecracker shrimp was disappointingly bland, reminiscent of chewing on grass, and the shrimp itself was overcooked. The egg rolls suffered the same fate; while you could identify them as food, the complete absence of flavor is truly a unique achievement! I would recommend saving your money and opting for Panda Express instead, where you’ll find more flavor and fresher ingredients.

I had my first experience at PF Chang's, and it was fantastic! While I've enjoyed their home meals from Target and Ralphs before, nothing compares to having it fresh at the restaurant. The service was excellent; our server was very attentive, and the food was served in a timely manner. My sister ordered the orange chicken with lo mein and Brussels sprouts, while I went for the crispy shrimp with rice and cauliflower. We also shared ribs and dumplings as appetizers. The ribs were incredibly tender and fell right off the bone! However, I found the crispy shrimp to be less crispy than I expected, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, the food was delicious, and I would definitely return!

Nothing to review because I left faster than I got there! Had no desire to eat anymore. I just went to go see my movie.

Quick update, we came on a Monday night (05/15/2023 for a birthday celebration my grandma turned 98! The manager and staff were all very accommodating. My grandma has some eating restrictions, so we needed to bring some prepared food for her, which was not a problem with management. Special call out to our server Angel who was friendly and efficient with his service. We also got the front desk host, Nayley to snap some pictures. Thanks to all for hosting our memorable birthday celebration. As far as the food goes, we had, Lettuce Wrap (A and the Tempura Battered Green Beans (B, a little greasy for me as our starters. The entrées included Mongolian Beef (B+ , Crispy Honey Shrimp (B+ , and the signature Lo Mean Noodles with Chicken (A . The food is really tasty, but not the healthiest meal you will have. Personally, when it comes to chain restaurants, I quite like P.F. Chang's.
