The price point is perfect. this was what ramen places used to be priced 10 years ago but now the rest of LA is super expensive, I'd come back just for the prices. Ramen is cooked a little al dente. The soup comes out piping hot. Coconut ramen (11.95) like tonkotsu ramen with a Thai curry flavor. It's very creamy. Chashu was average, it's like inconsistent, sometimes soft, sometimes over cooked. Red shisen ramen (12.95) garlic flavor, the flavor is average. The level 1 (lowest level) spicy is really hot. If not a fan of spicy, stick to the black shisen.
