Big House - Torrevieja

Very ok place. Friendly stuff, quickly service. Big, huge portions : crispy duck is delicious. Do not order crema catalana- this is not really desert, but very frozen vanilla ice cream

We ate here as we had heard other people talking about it. We went with our two daughters and opted for the meal for 4 at 65 euros. First surprise was wine was included. She poured us a glass of house wine, 3 red and 1 white. Then she brought a full bottle of red and half a bottle of white at the table ! Then we had an array of beautiful food presented to us one course after the other. The food was beautifully cooked in light sauces. Tempura prawns were excellent and came with veg in tempura batter which I had not had before. Beijing Duck was beautiful. There was a sushi course which the girls loved. We finished with deep fried ice cream which was also gorgeous. Service was prompt and relaxed. We will definitely return and I would highly recommend.

Eaten here a few times now, the staff are always very pleasant and welcoming , the service can be a little sketchy if there are many guests but in general the food tends to be very good. I would not recommend the sushi as they don't use sushi rice so it tends not to be the quality one would expect from this restaurant

El mejor sushi de la zona. Calidad del producto inmejorable. El menú barco con sushi y niguiris es un acierto. Lo recomendamos, un sitio de confianza y muchos años de experiencia

Llevo más de 20 años siendo cliente de este restaurante y como comida no hay igual.. es el único que ha mantenido sabor y calidad pero el problema hoy ha sido el servicio.. hemos llamado a las 13 h y hemos reservado, nos hemos sentado en la mesa a las 14 h y habían 3 mesas sentadas a nuestro alrededor, hemos tenido que pedir la carta después de llegar dos mesas después y tenerlas ya, seguidsme hemos pedido , nos han servido a las 14:20 las ensaladas y un rollito a cada uno, después de 20min sin salir un solo plato más, oes he preguntado y me dicen que ya salían, después de pasar 10 minutos mas las 14:50 cuando me he levantado y les he dicho que me lo pusiesen para llevar ya que todos estaban comiendo y yo con un solo rollito en el plato mas tieso que la mojama, mi sorpresa esque después de fumarme un cigarro para intentar calmarme un poco..me dice que lo sentia pero habian perdido nuestra comanda y encima me cobra las coca colas y los rollitos habiéndose quedado uno en el plato hecho mas de 30 min.. sin duda no creo que vuelva hasta que esto se olvide.. y de recomendarlo pues lo pensaré antde hacerlo,,
