Il Mondo - Torrevieja

We love this restaurant and try to visit at least once when we're in Torrevieja. Only a five minute walk from the Playa del Cura and overlooking the sea. It offers an excellent value lunchtime menu for €15 and an evening menu for €25 as well as a very good a la carte menu. Service is excellent and the food well cooked and presented. Step away from the beach and you will be pleasantly surprised. We have been visiting for the past five years and we have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good and of a high standard. We will definitely visit again.

We loose one night and drive more Than 100 km to go and come back for nothing They acceppt réservation Send confirmation vit still closed Shame tu this restaurant. When you close , you don’t havé to accept réservation

We arrived as this restaurant has in the past it's always been outstanding, unknown to me they have obviously changed hands. Over the coarse of the next 3 hrs , yes 3 hrs, we were given Alcatel blackboard choice of set menu, but little did we know that there were going to cheese, more cheese and extra cheese on each dish, followed with huge piece of terrine. Not a good mix, chef issue.. The portions were large and with the long wait between coarses and no air con , windows closed, We both felt really ill when main coarse arrived, so asked to takeaway. Asked for bill, which took and age, music got really load and crazy dancing started, we know we made right decision to leave and never to return. Plus, points, the main meal we eat next day was nice....

Scallop starter was absolutely mouthwateringly good as was the tortellini. Duck magnet main was to die for . Service a little slow even though they weren't that busy, could have done with air conditioning as the restaurant very hot sticky.

This restaurant has been closer for two years please remove it from trip advisor,it shouldn't be with the best of them
