The coffee was simple but delicious (I opted for an Americano) and made without any unnecessary frills. There was a tempting display of breads, rolls, and cakes to choose from. I enjoyed my time relaxing in the cozy sitting area off to the side of the shop. It was a refreshing change from the typical plastic coffee shop chains. Independent businesses like this one deserve to thrive.
While I can’t deny the cakes were almost as good as I get in the town, the coffee was bitter and incredibly uninspired for an ‘Artisam’. Horribly milky when I ordered a cappuccino. Also the man handling food sneezed on his hands and then picked out cake without washing his hands!! Wouldn’t recommend the coffee, and take away cake with caution!
Unfortunately we got here too late in the day to buy much as it was all sold. We didn't eat in. We did manage a baguette and some cake, both of which were great. Sam (I presume he is Sam?? behind the counter, was really cheerful and friendly, and we spent a while swapping baking tips and advice. We shall be visiting again next time we are in Holsworthy!
This restaurant is a fantastic find for a satisfying meal. The customer service is top-notch and they offer a diverse menu of homemade dishes.
This bakery with an attached cafe is fantastic. The owner clearly has a passion for what they do and is incredibly skilled at it. The food here is perfect for those who appreciate good food. Sam, I would gladly travel 260 miles just for your delicious food. The food is top-notch and the atmosphere is full of humor. Five stars all around for the fantastic food and great vibes.
