Since we never had a hot pot, we wanted to try. the staff were friendly and encouraging and helped us to choose what was an excellent meal. we chose a mushroom soup basic, a mixed plate of tofu and vegetables, some mushrooms and glass noodles. we were recommended to go for the diving sauce with which we rolled. it was a great experience. I have stuffed the broth with a few supplements from the sosetic and we've screwed in. a really warming and nutritious meal, the taste subtlely changed how the various morsel cooked and the meal went. not a meal that you hurl. I ask them to walk away from the glistening towers of canary wharf and to eat in the local community.
This restaurant used to offer a great hot pot buffet, but now they have switched to a pay-per-item model which is very expensive. The service was slow and somewhat rude. They also charge extra for the hot pot sauce.
If you want great quality food with authentic flavors i haev not been to a better place in London. i can understand all the reviews good and especially bad. This is a Chinese restaurant for mainly Chinese. Only some staff can speak English and the...menu is very Chinese and really confusing if you dont know what is going. I recommend picking a set menu, enjoy what happens next and have patience with the staff who are clearly more used to Mandarin speakers. I was the only Westerner in there and was made to feel very welcome. I very rarely write reviews and will regret this one if everyone starts going there and i cannot get in
The restaurant looks really nice and modern from the outside, especially with the cook your own heated pots in the table etc. However, firstly, the waiters gave us 2 menus between 9, and failed to communicate properly how the dishes worked as some were raw,...some were pre cooked. After ordering what we wanted, the waiter declined and and said we should order a ramen bowl to share as it would be easier and more cost efficient. The ramen was literally a packet spice mix with uncooked ramen blocks of noodles in a spam soup; costing 22.80. My friends ordered crispy pork which tasted of multi surface cleaner, and most of the dishes tasted highly of msg and chemicals. I would not recommend this restaurant. Don’t get drawn in by the hot pots
Loved the prawn dumplings, Sichuan fish in chilli oil and all the other ala carte dishes too. In the barbecue don’t miss the clams. They taste delightful!
