Even the chef made eye contact with me when i needed bread and threw some pita in the oven for me.. the food was outstanding, Micheal the GM recommended a dry aged steak which was on par with any top steakhouse. The food was unlike any greek restaurant with very unique flavors that i couldn't get enough of. This restaurant is a must visit, I will certainly be heading out to NYAK to try the other store and to say hi the Michael!!
After reading about this place in Best of Westchester decided to try. Wow, what a find. Definitely will be back. Really good martinis! But we ordered a lamb meatball that I think is just about the best meatball of any kind I've ever had. This was a meatball made with finesse. Light and almost delicate, but with all of the delicious flavor of lamb and a beautiful garlicky red sauce. This is the kind of dish that you can get cravings for. The branzino was delicious as well. Everything was delicious. And the service excellent. It is a small restaurant so definitely make a res. We will definitely go back to The Greekish!
Nice, fairly standard Greek menu. The dips were all great, the octopus was impressive (soft and tender). The prawns with rice were very good, perfectly prepared. Both the chicken with lemon and falafel gyro plate were well received, though the chicken was a surprise, lots of small pieces piled high with a yogurt sauce. That could easily have fed 3 people. We were there with a toddler, and the staff were amazing, bringing her coloring books, picking up crayons, and making her and us feel welcome. It's a small place, warm and informal. We enjoyed it!
We arrived on New Years Eve to discover it was a prixe fixe menu which wasn't advertised on Open Table. Food was good and portions were great. However, we were shocked when we received our bill. We were charged $8 each for bottled water. They automatically added 20% gratuity and our bill for 2 people came out to $336! I think very overpriced. I would expect to pay that maybe in NYC. Won't be coming back
We had oyster, shrimp cocktail, yellowfin tuna crudo, red caviar taramosalata, spanakopita, and for entrees we order the grilled octopus and grilled branzino. Everything was delicious. The only con was that the branzino was only one (side filet, the potatoes were without flavor and the kale was too hard. The grilled octopus was goood! Overall the food was great! For dessert we had the baklava and bread pudding (yum! ; tiramisu was meh.
