Little River Bbq - Townsend

Amazing experience, good food. There was 10 of us and 1 chef and he had it out quick, hot and fresh. Food was amazing highly recommend the fried okra and ribs. Only regret is that I didn’t get more food and dessert.

Great little restaurant beside the Little River. Good food and friendly service. Really enjoyed our visit and will be back.

The atmosphere was nice; the restaurant was on the river and there were super cute cats on the porch! The food was decent; the barbecue was pretty good and I especially liked their fried okra. However, I was highly unpleased with the service. Our server (Katie) seemed new and was very kind, therefore, excusable. However, the other server was very disrespectful to me and my family when we were going to pay. No one told us that we were supposed to pay up front, so we waited a while at the table before we figured we should go and ask someone. We asked her and she bluntly barked “You pay up front.” We were still confused so we explained that no one had given us a ticket, receipt or anything and she snarked “We ring it up FOR YOU.” My mother also mentioned that the same server gave us weird and dirty looks as soon as we entered the restaurant. Please train your servers to show all customers the same respect. I thought this was common sense in the restaurant business, but this particular eatery did not deliver!
