We were looking for a place with great Georgia shrimp and seafood. Luckily, our reviews led us to The Old School Diner. Even after reading the reviews, we were hesitant to go in. The decor is only to be described as eccentric. We were so glad we ventured in. We were served the most delicious shrimp, whiting fish, humongous hushpuppies and a BBQ pork steak.....wow! Perfectly seasoned and dusted, fried to perfection.
The best experience you'd have, accommodating your needs. You want an experience out yonder, and not up in the mix like your traditional restaurant? Then this is the place for you!
Kevin went way up pass his pay scale. We loved you all. Thank you so much??????The best ever. Will be back next time we come to GA.
Jerome (Owner and chef) and Tammy (our waitress) made our anniversary so special. Tammy had decorated the table with roses, candles and a champagne bucket. We had glasses filled with lemonade and sweet tea. Lol. Jerome (my husband's cousin) came to the table and greeted us with love and said he would make us a special dinner. And he did!! I had a huge stuffed flounder that was delicious and my husband had jumbo fried shrimp and homemade coleslaw. This one couple came to the table 3x to see my fish and ask how it was. Everyone there that night wished us a Happy Anniversary and one customer wanted to sing to us. It was such a beautiful night and if you have never eaten here, you have missed a gem!! Jerome is world known as you will see in the thousands of pictures everywhere with celebrities and everyone. I love OLD SCHOOL DINER!!!
