Yes Buffet - Traralgon

Decided to try this for lunch $16 adults for buffet..The cold breeze was coming in the front door and we asked if it could be closed and the waitress just told us we should move.. sat down around 12.05pm..The chicken and sweet corn soup was the best thing there..Fried rice was dry, beef and black bean was bland, chicken wings were oily,Honey chicken was nice, sweet/sour pork was okay..Definitely won't rush back here..

Where to begin, not even worth the cheap $22 it cost. All the food was cold, tasteless, of the dishes we could taste we wished we didn't. Prawns that tasted like water, the attempt of mini chicken Parma was more like a mouthful of tomato paste, and chips that were undercooked which now leaves me fearing this is the case with most of the food I have eaten here tonight, and I could quite possibly be requiring a bucket at both ends!!!!

Very nice place with nice food buffet style????Value for money????conveniently located. Great customer service.

Previous reviews of this venue highlight problems with their most current experience. But, they say that they have been here multiple times. So, something must have been good enough to bring them back!In my most recent visit to The Yes Buffet for their lunchtime offering, I was once again very happy with their great value cheap eats. The venue is a bit on the sleazy side. But, the toilets are both clean and wheelchair friendly. Kids can most certainly get a decent feed. The service was much more than what one could expect in a cheap eats place. In particular there was Emily who was doing the Server's role for my most recent visit. With apologies, I feel that I am compelled to tell you the following story.As I walked towards the restaurant, I saw a young woman help a quite severely handicapped guy in his 30s. She saw that this chap was confused by some roadwork which had partially blocked the footpath just outside the Yes Buffet. She took his arm, walked him to safety and gave him a very warm hug. That guy acted like an Angel had touched him. Tears welled up in his eyes belying his emotional response to this young woman. And so I met Emily -Server (and possibly Angel) of the Yes Buffet in Traralgon.Okay. I realise this isn't the actual rating of the Service or food, but; this bit of positive experience in a cheap eats buffet is a good feed for the soul too.So, within the cheap eats range, this is certainly a 4 star value. Highly recommend this venue for a $15.00 lunch, y'all.

I have been to Yes Buffet many times before & usually the food & service is good, However tonight was different.The food was ordinary & the wait staff very disappointing. The girl at the counter spent 95% of her time talking to her friend & then other friends arrived, sadly the paying customer was not served until you could get her attention.Very disappointing indeed.
