I attended a sourdough baking class today with Al and had a great time. I don't often get a whole day to myself and couldn't think of a better way to have spent it. I learned so much, got to bring home the fruits of our labours in the bakery, ate a tonne of delicious bread and took home some tasty treats for my family. Thanks so much John and Al for your generous sharing of knowledge, food and community.
Had a fantastic experience. Scrambled egg on wheat free rye bread was awesome as was the Vienna sough dough. Max the baker allowed us behind the scenes and spent 30 minutes explaining the art of baking. It was fantastic if you get the chance go there not only for the fantastic bread but the lovely friendly staff who have such a passion for their trade .
