An absolutely glorious sunny day, very hard to believe that it is ende november. we drove up from the coast to the mountains, along very winding roads with spectacular views of rocky, hurly rivers and waterfalls, end up high up in the city of trevelez, famous for its sink. the hams hang on hooks in any available deck in the whole city. we sat on an outside table in this friendly restaurant and had a simple lunch sample of delicious ham and a sturdy suppe of lenses, chorizo, kartoffel and sweet. the people at the nearby tables were enthusiastic about eating and the employees took time to talk to everyone.

In a day with my wife and daughter stopped here or more, if we had to stop, this place found 1 of many I could add, although the sitting area was occupied outside, which is always a good sign. Nice to have a good...Menu in English, beautiful selection at appetizers and nets. eating was of good size and quality was very good, was nice to have a good choice of sweet. bottle water 1lr plus 3 fizzy drinks and 3 main courses and some free tapas came to 35euros that we thought was very good.

Since 2007 I visit this cafe restaurant and it always proves a joy whether it is tapas with a beer or a 3-course menu. the quality was always the first class and it was always a great value for money. it is one of my favorite places to eat in la alpujarra.

Pedimos la sopa de picadillo, el solomillo con salsa a la pimienta y la pluma ibérica. Lo que más nos gustó fue la pluma, y la sopa también estaba muy buena. Es un restaurante típico en Trevélez que no falla, ya hemos venido varias veces. Las croquetas están espectaculares. Repetiremos seguro!
