The waiter was a little bit slow and had too keep asking for stuff and we waited a bit for him to take our order other than that he was nice guyParking: A lot of one ways hard to maneuver back there in a small parking lot

Not my favorite BBQ, but they have several other items I love including hand breaded chicken strips, burgers, and one of the best ribeyes around. Shane at the bar consistently delivers top notch service!

There don’t seem to be a lot of good restaurant choices in Trinidad. My hotel recommended Trinidad Smokehouse as having good food and being welcoming. I ate at the bar, and the bartender was quite welcoming and friendly. The food was just OK. There were no local beers on tap. The decor was fun – it has a tin ceiling and some old mounted trophies. If I were to come through town again, I would probably try a different restaurant next time.

BBQ was excellent but when seated for lunch we were informed they were running out of ribs.

We were in town on vacation being from Texas our BBQ back home hits different my husband was super curious on testing the waters of Colorado BBQ and let me tell you what IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! but before I get into the BBQ part of the story, we had breakfast first, I had the breakfast combo with french toast, sausage, hash browns scrambled eggs the toast was even sprinkled with powdered sugar ? My husband had biscuits gravy with ham eggs over easy, everything was amazing so we had a feeling we definitely would be back for BBQ. I had the chopped beef sandwich with onion rings, my husband had the pulled pork sandwich with fries we also had potatoe skins YUMMY IN OUR TUMMY! Before we left town we had to stop for breakfast again I had the country scramble this time my husband had the breakfast combo, everything was delicious and we can't wait to be back next year???
