The Good Wolf Brewing Company - Truckee

Yeah this place backs the hype. Not very big but cozy trippy tropical jungle vibe. Beers are fantastic. Best in the region maybe if you like beers with odd tastes and fruity flavors. Nothing too out there though and everything is a bit muted but is easy drinking and a great value. Get a flight and spend an hour or two here.

Really loving their beers. Last time in I had The Nothing, Moonpool, and my go-to Range of Light. All suuuuuper tasty. Every time I head into Truckee I make a stop here. Probably one of my favorite breweries.

The beers here are so different than what you’ll find in the area in the best way possible. The Thai PA was so fun had notes of kafir like, coconut and lemon grass. Super dog friendly and the staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Get the Boca California lager!

Very likely the best craft beer in North California if not the whole state. They hit a home-run on pretty much every beer style they attempt. Unlike most IPA's, theirs are delicious and don't nuke your palate with hops. The master brewer is a gem. Only downside to the place is the really strong white neon fridge lighting that hits you in the face. Work those cozy orange hues.

Very unique tap room. They do have the default IPAs and lager, but they also have extremely interesting, unique rotational beers. Definitely suggest getting the flight. Not being a hops fan, I really loved The Velvet Plume(smoked stone fruit).No food, just some snacks you can purchase. We also enjoyed the unique ambience. Fairly small. Very friendly staff. I had read it was dog friendly, but I did not see any dogs there when we went.
