Incredible restaurant! I can't say enough good things about our experience. Our group namely tried the Alfredo table side fettuccine, save one person who ordered the spicy Paccheri. Everything tasted very fresh. Their house made focaccia bread was delicious as well.

We were searching for a celebration restaurant. I was surprised at the number of Tulsa-area elite restaurants that now opt to be closed on Sunday nights. Sad, in fact. I had targeted several others but all were closed. Fortunately, I checked Prossimo. It was open and reservations were quickly secured. The experience was divine! From A to Z. A warm welcome at the host/hostess station and an immediate escort to our table. An extensive beverage menu was waiting and we quickly made selections. Unrushed, we ordered drinks before being offered menus to peruse. Our server (goodness, what a great guy, but I don 't recall his name...from New York, I believe) was attentive, helpful, and friendly. He was not overly intrusive, but never ignored us. In short, a perfect blend of help and staying out of our business so to speak. Table bread with three spreads were enjoyed around the table along with our four (different) wine selections. All wines were quality and enjoyed. Two of us enjoyed a yummy Caesar Salad. One of our party ordered the table-prepared fettucine alfredo, which was prepared with a cordial narrative about the dish 's origins and differences between their preparation and the more common recipe that includes cream in the sauce (their sauce has none). Chilean Sea Bass, Octopus, pasta alla vodka, and bolognase with meatballs were universally savored. The alfredo was complimented with a wonderful side of wild mushrooms. We were stuffed, and could only imagine how wonderful the desserts must be. We were inside for right at 2 hours and it seemed perfect. Not rushed, but no delays in our experience. It was a pricey meal, but one that we will savor for some time, and will return again when ready to celebrate again. My compliments to the entire Prossimo team for a splendid dining experience.

The service was outstanding! Matthew was very knowledgeable and always attentive. Watching the tableside Alfredo preparation was impressive, and it was delicious too. The calamari, halibut, and chopped salad were also fantastic. We will definitely be coming back!
