Evangeline's - Tuscaloosa

This is our favorite date night place to eat. From the time we walk through the doors to the time we leave with my 'to go ' box, everyone makes us feel special. The menu is very 'classy ', the place is 'classy ', the staff is 'classy ', and the food never disappoints.

David, Colbi, and the staff at Evangeline's are great! Beautiful and elegant setting, the variety of menu options very balanced, and most of all, delicious.

After living in Tuscaloosa most of my life this was our first visit to Evangeline's. The food and service was excellent and the atmosphere was very special!! My husband had a filet mignon and I had shrimp and crawfish pasta, both were amazing!! We both had a couple drinks each, appetizers, main courses and even desert and price was under $100, which for the amount and quality of food you got I thought was fantastic! Entrées were very reasonably priced ! We took 2 boxes home! We will be back!

Tonight 9 of us went to Evangeline's, and it was fabulous! I moved from Tuscaloosa years ago, and was excited about eating there again. It did not disappoint. The Crab Cake Caesar Salad was the best meal I've had in a long time. All of us who got it agreed that it was absolutely fantastic! The presentation and taste were both super impressive!

I absolutely cannot eat shrimp and grits... But the way they make them here, I actually crave them. I have yet to find a dish that isn't delicious and freshly made. The toast (perseco) is delicious, but what makes it worthwhile is that we're always treated so well here. Amazing staff, delicious food, and a great atmosphere.
