Ichiban Japanese Grill - Tuscaloosa

Best sushi in the city and also affordable. if you want a show, go to the cinema. this is just well done not flashy delicious. great people to boot.

The food was good and the atmosphere was cozy. Pictured is the Tuscaloosa sushi roll, and the fried hibachi chicken veggies bento box. The fried vegetables were good, but I will probably get the teriyaki next time because I prefer the non-deep-fried taste better.

Great place for inexpensive Japanese food. Their Miso soup was great. Unagi Don was delicious.

I eat here alot and the bento boxes are great. The only downside is that since they moved they stopped using the actual bento boxes which takes away from the experience.

I've been twice and very disappointed each time. Food is not fresh and it is rolled by mistry person in the back. Huge giant yet thin rolls that fall apart and don't fit in my mouth. No restaurant ambiance just 4 tables in a corner....but mostly it's just not good food. Confused why the high reviews unless the employees have been boosting. I wanted to give them another shot but don't see the point
