Metro Diner - Tuscaloosa

This restaurant delivers everything you hope for and more. Having been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with host Guy Fieri, you can be sure it's going to be fantastic. The portions are generous, yet the prices are quite reasonable. The grilled city meatloaf is the perfect comfort food to soothe the soul.

Wow! This was our first time dining at Metro Dinner, and it was one of my best restaurant experiences ever. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food; everything was incredibly delicious and tasted like home-cooked meals. The service was fantastic! The staff were all very sweet, kind, and helpful. Our waitress was particularly caring and friendly, and she suggested a meal that was simply delightful. The food quality here is outstanding and absolutely worth the price. The restaurant itself was clean, with comfortable tables, and the atmosphere was amazing. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Oh my gosh, the food is incredible! We ordered the chicken and waffles, and it has become one of my favorite breakfast dishes. I love that they use bone-in chicken; it adds a unique flavor. The chicken was perfectly crispy, and the waffle batter was wonderfully fluffy. And the strawberry butter? Wow, just wow!

I love Metro Diner; I'm not sure what happened today but our breakfast was terrible and our server pretty much nonexistent. Our pancakes were so tough you couldn't even cut them with a fork let alone a knife. They were very chewy, maybe over beaten batter or banked pancakes not sure. No we did not eat them they were terrible. The over easy eggs were over cooked. The hash browns were greasy and the home fries over cooked. The sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs were the only properly cooked items. Our server never came back to check on us until she dropped the check on the table. I really hope this was just an off day because I would really love to change my review.

Metro Diner is Tuscaloosa was awesome! I had the Shepherd?s Pie and it was the best I ever had. I will order it again. And, the chocolate cake was ?to die for!? That?s the top rating in my chocolate cake tasting scale! The chocolate cake alone is worth the trip! And, the slice is big enough to share, but only if you want to! That person has to be very special to get part of my chocolate cake from Metro Diner!!!
