Texas Roadhouse - Tuscaloosa

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The rolls were burnt, hard, and stale. I ordered steak, salad, and sweet potatoes, and after a 20-minute wait, my salad finally arrived—thrown on the table carelessly by the waitress as she rushed off. The salad was old; the lettuce was discolored, and it looked like it had already been half-eaten. I never received the water I requested. When the waitress finally returned, after I had sent the salad back and asked for another side, she complained about having an emergency table to attend to. I really enjoy her New York strip. They serve a generous portion of food at a reasonable price. I also love the lively atmosphere!

I found mold in my mashed potatoes, and they tried to disguise it with gravy. I ordered an extra side of green beans, but the portion was less than half full, especially after I paid nearly $4 for it. Additionally, my salmon was not cooked as I had requested. When I brought these issues to the attention of the management, she apologized and said she would send me a coupon for an entrée (which I never received), but she didn’t refund my money or assure me that this wouldn’t happen again. I really dislike being deceived, especially regarding my food.

Really good food. I love the roles! However, we had to wait over thirty minutes just to get a table, even though we were on the waiting list. I also saw that the reception staff told another customer that his name had not been placed in the waiting list system. I wish the waiting time and online reservation? (I don't know that exactly) was easier to handle for the restaurant staff. But everything was really amazing and Alexis(Server) was so polite and made sure we were great!

Main reason for going here today was to use a coupon they sent us. The onion was so big we had to take the rest home with us. Boneless chicken wings were ok, enjoyed ourself and Hope, our server was really nice.
