Tut's Place - Tuscaloosa

This is the best place ever! I live in Pennsylvania and visited my boyfriend at Auburn University. I ate here all the time! They have the best grilled chicken sub I've ever had!

The subs and burgers are really tasty, but I would recommend steering clear of the pizza if you're considering buying it by the slice.

In Search of: The Perfect Calzone. Beef, green and black olives, and mushrooms come together in a perfectly baked dough to create a taste sensation I haven't experienced in nearly two decades. I graduated from the University of Alabama in '95 and haven't dined here since. Tut's has been a long-standing favorite on the University of Alabama campus for a reason, right? It's the food. To sum it up in one word: scrumptious! Cheers!

Delicious food! While I haven't tried the pizza yet, the gyros and sandwiches are fantastic, and the steak cheese is an absolute must-try—it’s outstanding. I prefer Tut's food over Hooligan's, but sadly, the atmosphere here isn't quite as pleasant.

Tut's is fantastic and incredibly fresh. The sandwiches, particularly the chicken parmesan, and the calzones are exceptional! I suggest calling ahead to avoid waiting.
