My first time visiting a Jimmy John's experience. The staff was very friendly and patient with me. They saw that I was looking at the menu and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The prices are on point and the subs are fresh tasting. The only negative I would say is just the fact that they don't make hot foods everything is cold. But I highly recommend this location. Btw the picture doesn't do the sandwich any justice because I opened it about half an hour to 45 minutes later Parking: They also have a drive-through so if you're in a rush you don't even have to get out of your car.
Yesterday I stopped by at 5 pm for 2 subs. Very good and very fast service. Food: 5 Service: 5
I come here quite a bit some times through the drive through and sometimes I order delivery and usually it’s pretty good between the service and the food but today was awful! I just left the drive through and the guy at the window acted like he was annoyed that I was even there not only that but I felt like they were moving way slower than normal Could just be me on that part but I got food at two other places for my children and our longest wait was here anyways if I do come back it’s gonna be a while and probably deff not through the drive through! Hope things get better there!
#60/2023 Tuscola Illinois Interstate 57 20 minutes south of Champaign Illinois 30 minutes away from Charleston Illinois the home of Eastern Illinois University and also where Jimmy John's sandwich shops began. Most of the Jimmy John's I've always been aware of in my travels have been located in strip malls. Usually they're anchoring the corner of the building. So I was quite surprised because I knew there was a Jimmy John's here at tuscola but normally I parked by the loves but I had a bad experience there and I decided to go to this little mom and pop fuel stop where you can park a truck too. And then I saw the Jimmy John's right there First thing that surprised me is it's a standalone Did not know they had them honestly Second thing surprised me it had to drive through Did not know they had those either As I mentioned most of the Jimmy John's I've always seen have been in strip plazas so it was kind of surprising to see all of it. So I got out of the truck and walked out over. First thing I notice is a huge outside dining patio area and when you walk in the side entrance door you nurse thing that surprises you for me is how big it is. Is a very large dining room I was greeted immediately there were some people who were there already enjoying their food and everything was look good. First thing I wanted to do is wash my hands and use the bathroom I noticed they have gender friendly bathrooms neutral so no matter what you do they're single horse stalls and anybody can use them there's no men no women basically what I like to simply and have seen unisex a lot of signatures when there's no men or women and it's for anybody because it's one horse stall and they lock.. but now to be with the times they have the new terms apparently LOL it is what it is I decided that I was going to eat there was a nice looking dining room so I ordered up a number nine the Italian nightclub. I've had in the past before it's a good sandwich. I got it basically without onion and added dijon mustard because I like the dijon mustard. I asked for it to be cut in half and I got some thinny chips and the fountain drink. Quality the sandwich was excellent you can definitely see this one takes a lot of pride in their bread and their meats everything was really fresh and tasty. I definitely will visit this one again especially now I have a Jimmy John's connection close by and I don't have to have it delivered to the truck and I can park and walk right over so good for me hooray!
