Very good food. Nicely surprised. Fantastic flavors and wonderful menu of great and unique Mexican cuisine that is not your typical Mexican restaurant. Very recommended.
This nice restaurant is located in the old town of Steinin. We came here to our wedding day dinner. It is highly recommended to make a reservation with an open table. They are packed during dinner and we waited for 10 15 minutes. We ordered many appetizers to share. Pigmeat: Comes on a corstortilla with vinaigrette marinated pig bell. The taste is super crispy and tasteful. 5. 5 bone marrow grilled corn: Marvelous, coal grilled corn with the richest bone marrow. The aromas work perfectly together. 5 Steam mussels with herbal sauce: Comes with avocado and her homemade bread, omg, which unforgettable flavors. The bread tastes like life after you have been starving for weeks and this is your first bite. The shells have an earthy, damped taste that really works. 5 Duck confit tortas are delicious, but duck is slightly flavored and a little too salty. Very good, but compared to the other courts, something seemed missing. 4 5 The beignet dessert was rather disappointing, simply tasted kind of Bland and we did not end up. The chocolate sauce was not remarkable. I'll say the caramel sauce is the best I ever had. 2 5 I have never tried Yucatan cuisine before Chaak, they definitely use many spices that I have never tried and cannot call them. The restaurant has such a good cultural atmosphere and great music. No matter how you are dressed, you fit right here. It is such a gem place for date night, girl night and any kind of celebration.
Very authentic menu, the restaurant has a really nice chic atmosphere, servers are really friendly and great with recommendations. We had their famous fish and it was really amazing! Beverages are also good, service is perfect. Must be in Anaheim.
Tonight my friends got engaged at this restaurant and I can't say enough of the staff. From meeting with Alfredo the manager to work out the details the night before, he was so accommodating with where to sit them to working with the staff to make sure everyone was on board. Today when I was there to get Ready to take pictures and videos both Alfredo and the incredible server Ashton came outside to go over details. Everything was perfect and I can't thank them enough for being so wonderful.
