They only have two picnic tables and we managed to get one. Most people don't wear masks in this town, so we didn't really want to eat inside. What we ordered: Lengua, Buche, Beer Battered Fish Tacos Cali Burrito Adrian's Quesadilla Esquite Strawberry Agua Fresca My favorite things were the quesadilla and the tacos. The al pastor was definitely my favorite meat. The tacos were all really solid. I liked the fish one the best. The portion sizes are huge, especially the quesadilla and burrito. This was way too much food for us. The burrito was too much rice for me and not much meat. The Esquite was pretty bad. It was very watery with a ton of mayo. The Agua Fresca tasted like cough syrup to me. If you need food when visiting Joshua Tree National Park, come here for some tacos and quesadillas.
Despite of ambiance and cleanliness the food is good. Really like the loaded nacho’s. Especially the hot sauce is nice and spicy. Like the fact that they customize based on our preferences. The lady taking the order is really friendly and helpful.
First time visiting. Went on a Monday afternoon around 1pm. I ordered the carnitas nachos. Carnitas meat suppose to be juicy but theirs was very dry and my nachos tasted like the toppings were just dumped on it straight from the refrigerator. Also the flies! FLIES everywhere in the indoor seating area. I will not return. I will not recommend especially if dining indoors. I give 1 star because the customer service was good but this place by itself is zero stars.
This is a local‘s favorite for authentic Mexican tacos. It’s located in the bowling alley downtown. It’s a popular place so expect a line when ordering. I like the chipotle chicken and carnitas. You need to take cilantro, onions, limes, and hot sauce with you to complete the tacos. It’s a take-out menu, or they have limited seating inside and out. They don’t have a website at this time. The service is fast. The food is delicious. Stop by and give it a try.
I am a big time taco fan and this place did not disappoint. I highly recommend the cabeza tacos and the grilled fish taco. The cabeza was the best that I have had and the grilled fish was lightly seasoned to perfection. Outstanding
