Patrona - Ukiah

The restaurant had a nice ambiance, but the food fell short of expectations. The prices were high-end, but the quality of the dishes did not justify them. There were only a few vegan options available. I ordered the garden salad, which had some wilted greens, and the yellow curry. The curry portion was surprisingly large, more suitable for sharing between two people. Adding tofu for an extra $3 was a good choice, as the tofu was the highlight of the dish and generously portioned. However, aside from the tofu, the dish was unappetizing. I could only eat half of it and left the rest behind. The service was disappointingly slow, despite the restaurant being only half full on a weekday. Overall, I would not recommend this place.

I brought my sister to Patrona for Mother's Day brunch. They offer a separate vegan menu with plenty of choices. The food was delicious and it was evident that the wait staff truly care about accommodating different dietary preferences. Unfortunately, I can only give Patrona 5 stars on Happy Cow if it is a fully vegetarian restaurant, but I would have given it a higher rating if I could.

Service was wonderful as usual. Food portions were smaller. Noise level was relatively high, but it was 6pm Saturday evening.

Patrona just changed ownership, but the food still remains excellent! For starters, had a grain bread with sweet soft butter and potato croquettes with fig jam. Both starter dishes were delicious. For entrees we had chicken pot pie and a yellow curry dish. Both entrees were absolutely fantastic. Only constructive criticism would be to have more curry for the dish. The curry was gone before all the rice was consumed. Although 375 miles away from our home, we’ll be back to enjoy another meal at Patrona

A pleasant surprise ! Locally sourced foods amplify a generous menu selection. Well made hand-crafted cocktails scintillate. Understated but convivial staff are a welcome addition. We will be making Patrona our stopover on visits to the North Coast.
