Excellent on all aspects! Great dinner! Recommended...
Nice setting and friendly service. The food was fine, the fois gras perhaps a little low on flavour but generous portions and coupled with lovely fruit flavours. The cassoulet was a bit heavy on white beans but I guess this is typical of this South West French dish.
I was very impressed by the appearance of this restaurant. Since we live in the neighborhood, we decided to give it a try. However, we were extremely disappointed with the food. I ordered Gambas with pasta and my wife had the Magré de canard with vegetables. Unfortunately, both dishes had a lot of sand in them, indicating that the seafood and vegetables were not properly washed. This made the meal very unpleasant to eat. We decided to skip dessert and left shortly after. The bill came to 59€ for two main courses, a large bottle of water, and a small bottle of water. Overall, we were very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant.
You are greeted and served by the brasserie owner in a warm and personalized manner. Though the menu may be limited, each dish is exceptional and delicious. Be sure to take the owner's wine recommendations, as they have an impressive selection of high-quality wines. A definite 5-star dining experience!
