Akamaru Japanese Ramen - Ulaanbaatar

Surprised to find large Japanese cuisine in Mongolia, as far as all the foods I ordered are very tasty, staff is friendly and try to help you best. Definitely a very good choice for lunch or dinner when in ulaanbaatar.

Pretty good Japanese. Not expensive. Right Wi-Fi. Nice view of Peace Street (in the corner of the tower.) Relaxing place to eat.

I loved the Udon noodles. Didn't like their seaweed cucumber salad and got udamame instead which was ok. The service was below average. They basically forgot our main dish, but hasn't had any good luck w good service in Mongolia anyway. I would definitely recommend and I want to go back to try more of their food. Also the price wasn't too bad, comparable to other fancier restaurants in town.
