Unfortunately, there is no special discount for students. I tried the Chicken Thali, which was a good deal at around $15. It came with two flavors of chicken, a roti, a small portion of rice, raita, and pickle. I felt that at least two rotis should be included in the Thali. I also tried the Butter Chicken with rice on another visit and found the curry to be slightly too sweet, but the chicken was very tender. Be sure to ask about the different curry options available in the Thali.
I recently tried the aloo gobi at this restaurant and enjoyed it. The only issue was that they didn't use fresh red chillies, so it lacked the level of spiciness I was expecting. The curry was dry but very flavorful and fragrant. The naan breads were perfectly charred and fluffy.
The food was delicious and served hot. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant and found the staff to be very accommodating. I would definitely return for the best Indian cuisine in Brisbane.
Very good quality food. Loved the thali and their buffet option. They are bit slow in service, so keep enough time in hand. Also not many sitting area specially for lunch hour.
Easily the best Indian in the CBD. Come here if you want to taste curries and other goodies to the palette and quality Indians in and from India expect. The main (lovely) lady in the kitchen has also sorted their service out now too!
