Downey's - Ulysses

I've never had a bad meal at Downey's. The staff is consistently excellent, even when it's chilly outside.

This is a fantastic little spot for both takeout and dining in. The prices and portion sizes are excellent. The fish fry is outstanding, and their pizza and subs are just as delicious!

Our group arrived about five minutes before the kitchen closed—unfortunately, there aren't many late-night options in Ulysses, but Downey's was one of them. Although we were just passing through, we felt very welcome. We all shared a large supreme pizza that was packed with high-quality ingredients. We could only manage to eat about half of it before we finally gave up, even though it was about 45 minutes after closing time. Throughout our visit, we never experienced any complaints or felt like we were bothering anyone. Kaitlyn, our server, did an excellent job of ensuring we were well taken care of without ever making us feel rushed. Thank you for the wonderful meal and the warm hospitality!
