Just had dinner at Aaron’s on Burke. The meal was lovely. Cooked well if a tad too large for us. That reflects on us and not the restaurant. I liked that Aaron bought his apprentice out and introduced him to everyone in the restaurant. Good service, good food, nice atmosphere. We’ll go again.
Just had the most amazing dinner with my family! The food is outstanding and the service great! Aaron is a super talented chef and extremely friendly! I definitely be coming back again
I was so lucky to have won dinner for 4 at Aaron's on Bourke and Wave FM's Facebook page. We had such a great dining experience from the time we walked into Aaron's. We were impressed with this newly renovated intimate, contemporary style restaurant, the staff, and the great food. Aaron came out to meet us and true to his word the meals were generous portions, beautifully presented and 5-star taste. Our starters were all tasty and well sized, delicious stuffed mushrooms and salt pepper calamari. My steak was the best-cooked steak I have had in a long time, loved the potato bake. Looking at the 3 other mains at our table, I will be returning to give them a try . I finished off with an amazing pannacotta (new to the menu) and a great coffee while my husband and parents gave the cheesecake their thumbs up. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience, well worth a night out. We will be back to this hidden gem on Bourke St, North Wollongong.
If you are looking for a good selection of hearty mains in a casual, relaxed dining environment with friends or family, I would recommend this restaurant. I was lucky enough to have a taste of the steak, barramundi and garlic prawns, and all dishes were delicious and satisfying. The barramundi with lemon butter sauce was flavoursome and melt-in-the-mouth, the steak was expertly charred on the outside and tender inside, and the famous garlic prawns did not disappoint, with the prawns perfectly cooked and served with plenty of sauce, perfect for dipping with bread or polenta fries. I would suggest you come in and try for yourself
